This position can be based in either the New York or Washington, DC office. The David Rockefeller Studies Program at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is seeking to hire a senior fellow for defense with a focus on how new technologies are shaping the future of warfare. Associate Podcast Producer/Audio Engineer, CFR.org

CFR is looking for an experienced associate podcast producer/audio engineer to help launch and co-produce the pilot season of a podcast focusing on global issues. This role will also collaborate on CFR’s existing podcasts. As this is the pilot season of the new podcast, it will be a six month assignment, with the possibility of extension. Research Associate, Center for Preventive Action

The Center for Preventive Action (CPA) seeks to help prevent, defuse, or resolve deadly conflicts around the world and to expand the body of knowledge on conflict prevention. It does so by creating a forum in which representatives of governments, international organizations, nongovernmental organizations, corporations, and civil society can gather to develop operational and timely strategies for promoting peace in specific conflict situations. The Center focuses on conflicts in countries or regions that affect U.S. interests, but may be otherwise overlooked; where prevention appears possible; and when the resources of the Council on Foreign Relations can make a difference. The Research Associate will work under the direction of the director on projects related to conflict prevention and crisis areas within the Center for Preventive Action.

Senior Editor, Global Health: In Health and Wealth Microsite

The Senior Editor will work under the direction of the Senior Fellow for Global Health, Economics, and Development and Director of the Global Health Program. The Senior Editor will be responsible for working with the senior fellow to manage content and daily operations for a new, multi-contributor blog currently being built. Once launched, this new multi-contributor blog, tentatively titled In Health and Wealth, will explore ways that health is interacting with and driving issues of global concern, including economic development, trade, migration, agriculture, and urbanization.
